The time has finally come for the good ole' pigskin to get thrown around!! And this year, as mentioned earlier, Chase is now playing tackle which to all of us is "real" football. Tonight was his first scrimmage but we all acted like it was his first game. We got all of our goodies out, packed all the toys we could cram into the bags so that we could actually watch him play, and loaded up the van. And let me just tell you, he did AWESOME!! He is such a natural at every sport but football made us all a little nervous. But he did great! He plays defensive end on defense and then on offense he plays end. Which means he is busting his butt every play for the whole game. He is so excited and just loves it!! Here are just a few pics. In a sad attempt I pointed out Mr. Man!
The ball was only thrown one time and it was straight to him. He caught it and all the parents went crazy. It was great!!

Chase had a great time and he seems to be so good at this. He works so hard and his coach has noticed his commitment to this sport. It is great.
But I have to say the best part of this scrimmage was watching the dad's. They were all so proud of their boys and the two times they all came off for a water break, every dad was over giving advice. And not just talking, literally down in the stance, teaching and coaching. It was great to see that bonding. I couldn't help but take the pics!
I am so proud of my little man. I just can't WAIT for his first real game.
