Oklahoma, is the place for me....

Oh how I love refueling our little family with some much needed R & R! We headed out to the middle of nowhere Oklahoma for this summer. We have definitely learned that as a family, the LESS we do on vacation the better it is!! Summer vacay in pictures:

The lovely b&b that we stayed at was perfect! It was a cute little 2 bedroom house with full kitchen and a gorgeous bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub and a shower big enough for all of us to fit in! It was just, well, perfect! Thom and Lisa, our hosts, were so friendly and so accomidating. They made our trip all the better by their wonderful hospitality. In between the main house and the b&b, was a gorgeous pool. We basically lived in that pool for most of the time. Chase became their pool boy and truely loved having some responsibility.

The sunsets were amazing, the stars were abundant and beautiful, and the smore's tasted a little better than usual! It was just what this family needed.



Miss Ella celebrated her 5th birthday while we were on vacation. There is nothing better than being somewhere special for your birthday! She had lots of presents to open and she was excited to get all of them.

We had a great time and have already talked about when we can go back! We loved the house, the pool, and getting to know a lovely couple :). A HUGE thanks to Thom and Lisa for being such gracious hosts. We had a great time and enjoyed everything!! Thank you for getting out the telescope, making us killer breakfasts,  and for loving our children while we were there. Thank you for turning on the music and for the lovely chocolates, it was just perfect!!
