Baseball Tournament
This past weekend we lived and breathed baseball. With all the heat and blowing dirt that seems to carry along with it in the middle of June. The boys played in a Father's Day Tournament. The boys played well and made it to the Championship Game. It was great to celebrate this with the team, since this is the first time we have made it past the second game. We didn't win the big trophy, we took second. It was a hard loss but we did improve.
Chase took a nice pitch to the middle of his back. I am assuming that the ball is on his left side, hidden by his body.
He pitched the first game and did great.
Love this kiddo!!
Starting Sunday off right with a new bad ass hair do!
Coming across the plate to score :)
It was a good weekend for ball.
Chase getting his trophy.
I know Ryan was excited to be at the diamond on Father's Day!
The girls showing off their toys
Chase also played up two years at a game last week. It was fun to watch him "hang" with these boys/team. He did well and I can see them asking him to sub again.
Soccer:
So I have some pictures to share with Miss Ella and her soccer ball. They are so cute!!
She had her first game last Wednesday night. She did well, as did her team. It is quite a spectacle to watch these 3 to 5 year olds try to move the ball down the field. For all of her life, she has been told to not take things away from others while they are playing with it. Now we are all screaming at her to get the ball and kick it as far away from who had it. She's a little confused. But she is having fun.
Father's Day Fun
For Father's Day we spent the day at the baseball tournament, which is the best way to spend a day. In the evening, we took daddy to the drive in to enjoy a late movie as a family. It was fun!!
Another stolen idea from Pinterest, but it turned out so cute!!
Kids going on
The kids have been crazy busy with camps, playdates, and just playing in general. Here are some pics from the past week
First bloody nose. Thanks to sister for going down the slide backwards
First time painting their own toenails. It was hilarious, if I do say so myself. There was more polish on their skin than their nails. But hey, practice makes perfect AND momma got some time to dry her hair.
So I think that is all. (Insert sigh) We are looking forward to another busy week, then we're off for vacation!!
