Chase had a tournament this weekend. As with most tournaments, we are still learning how to keep our heads up and carry on. The boys just don't have the stamina to get through a whole tournament. It has been hard to watch, at times, but they are learning. This is a crucial step in learning how to work as a team. Here are some pics
Chase played third during our last game of the tournament
Getting warmed up, gossiping, before the game :)
Chase pitched the second game and did a great job!
We can add another MVP trophy to the wall :)
Trying to get a hit
I just couldn't sit back and watch the sunset without getting some pics of my girls
We had two games Friday night, 7pm and 9pm. The girls did an awesome job considering we were at the ballpark until 11pm.
Daddy trying to entertain the girls for a while.
We are looking forward to another tournament next weekend. We are hoping to see the boys gain some stamina since State is just around the corner.
This week at Summer FUNschool we went to a nearby lake and enjoyed some wonderful play time outside. We kicked around the soccer ball a few times and had a nice picnic.
We also exploded some Ivory soap in the microwave. A very activity if you have some bored kids :)
We are finally having some hefty pickings from our garden.
Thursday we went to a nearby water park. The water was SOOOOO cold! We will have to go back but maybe in a couple weeks when it has had time to warm up. The kids had fun anyway and slept really good that night!
Summer is so fun!!
Ryan and I enjoyed a nice date night last night with some super yummy food!!
I am indeed in love with this season.
Happy start to one of the busiest weeks we have ever had! Two camps each day for Chase, soccer practice, baseball practice, 1st soccer game, baseball game, and another tournament. Throw in that we are celebrating Fathers Day all week with special gifts for my most wonderful husband and some special dates planned with his kiddos!
