Some words of advice for you as you grow older and life starts to become a little more complicated for you.
Friends have your best intentions in their heart. They won't ever treat you wrong and will say sorry if they ever do. They will defend you even when you are not around. They will like you for YOU and nothing else.
Family is there to help. Listen to those you trust and know that they are there to help you navigate through this beautiful yet relentlessly cruel world.
You will fail and that is ok. Let your family and friends help but you must learn to pick yourself up from this.
You are not the best at everything. Strive to be the best but be content with where you are when you are there. God put you here and gave you the skills he wants to see you use. You are precisely where you should be with the talents you should have.
Remember, you are allowed to cry. You are allowed to feel the way that you feel and show it how you feel is right at that time. Anyone that says otherwise doesn't understand this statement. PERIOD.
Be kind to all you see and come in contact with. Remember you never know when you might meet someone that might change your life forever or even better you never know when you might change someones life forever by your attitude or smile.
Be smart. Make decisions about your life that keep you safe and make you proud of yourself.
I am sure there are more but these were the most important right now. Lastly, keep your head up high. You have lots of people that love you that will help turn that frown upside down. We would not be the same family without you. I would not the mom I am without you. You keep us smiling and we are all so proud of you.
Love
Mom
