Fall is here!

Oh how I love looking out our kitchen window to see frost sitting our patio. I just adore the weather today, cold and windy. Forces us inside to snuggle and craft :). I have many pictures from the past weekend. Chase has his last football game of the season and from what I hear it was one I was meant to miss. The ref's were not fair and towards the end of the game our own coach got thrown out. All of our parents were in an uproar. It is hard to see our boys play their little hearts out only to lose the most important game because of bad calls. But it is over and life has moved forward. And as mad as the parents were, I know we are all so proud of our boys and how they make our Saturdays so much more fun!!

On Sunday, we met our baseball team for some fun at the 'patch. We were treated like royalty and man did we live it up!! We were able to do anything we want for FREE and that included eating anything. It was so fun :).

Here are the boys :)

Then we had to get those pumpkins carved and ready for Monday night. Here are the kids having some fun. It is always a good laugh to watch the kids pull out the guts. Ella hated it but wouldn't let anyone else do it for her.

Monday night was such a blast. The kids looked just adorable....ok well Chase looked all sorts of scary and the girls were adorable.

Funny story with Chase. He wanted to be scary this year. The girls weren't too happy about this. Kyndall wouldn't even walk when we went trick or treating because she was scared of Chase. Towards the end of our t&t time, Chase had scared about 3 or 4 kids to the point of tears. After the 4th kid cried and was scared Chase came and stood by me on the street and took off his mask. His comment to me was "maybe I shouldn't have wanted to be scary". He was a little upset that he had scared so many kids. Sweet boy of mine :)

Then after some trick or treating we went to a friends house to enjoy some very good Idaho'ian food and watch the Chiefs play. I have been desiring much needed friend time with a family that is like ours. I think we found it :). We had a great time with lots of laughing.

We are all recovering from our crazy busy weekend and Halloween which means lots of coffee and playing on the couch. We had a good time last night bowling with Ryan's work buddies. The kids all had a great time and I just adore watching my hubby bowl. November brings us reason to reflect on our past and treasure those around us. We, as a family, are focusing on what we are thankful for. So far it has been a good start. I hope your November is starting out the same way :)
