Groundhog Day

Our life is taking on a very Groundhog Day appearance. Crazy and super busy seem to be two words that are said every night as Ryan and I are falling into bed. Sometimes I love busy. It keeps me motivated and creative. It keeps me on my toes and in a more "flexible" kind of mood. But I liked it two weeks ago, now I don't. We got super lucky and on Sunday it rained which rained out our tournament. We spent the day on the couch. It was nice but so unproductive. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow I will find time to clean my house. Maybe. Here is what we have been up to lately.

Lots of this

With lots of yelling and screaming at umps for bad calls and at the boys for missed catches. Our team is growing. That is about all there is to say.

Chase was also selected to be in a relay race at the jr high. This was 4 boys/girls that raced their little hearts out. It was cute and very much the picture of what our lives will be like next spring in jr. high. Track is the only sport the jr high offers to the young ones.

running next to his good friend from another school. On a side note, I can not tell you how excited I am for him to be going to jr high. This means more access to good friends that he has made over the past few years.

Handoff!

Here is half the team. The other half was unintentionally cut out by the two (almost three) year old pulling  on my leg as I pushed the button.

The girls have been crazy busy as well. Crazy busy driving me crazy!! If we aren't outside 24 / 7 they are not happy. Insert creative pinterest find today. We can't go outside its too wet so here is something fun for them to do.

Make an obstacle course with yarn and tape.

They had a good time and have had to build three others since the first one was constructed. If you ever want a workout throughout the day, build on in your hallway that leads to your bedroom or bathroom. It is quite a workout (and probably quite a sight) to see me go through it.

If you are asking what has been so crazy about your life, well we decided to start repainting the deck. On a whim. On a Friday night around 10pm we decided it would have been a good week (last week) to start this process. We had a great weather outlook and decent temps. Nothing ever works out that way. But none the less the process is underway and it is looking fantastic.

It doesn't look like we will get much done this week but hopefully this weekend. After all this is our last weekend at home for the next month. See, crazy busy continues!!
