Day #6
The Twilight Series of movies. I know I should read the books and maybe someday I will actually get to them but for right now an hour and half is about all we get on Saturday nights or Sunday nights after everyone is in bed. We happened to watch the first one, one night when nothing else was on. Wow. Im not so hot on the acting because lets face it, between the ackward silent stares and the fighting, there isn't much acting going on. But how I do love romance movies and dare I say the two leading men in these movies are breathtaking for this 30+ year old. And last weekend I watched the third one, I know Im a little late, but yep, had to be my favorite. Don't laugh at me and don't make fun of me, just let me have my little werewolf / vampire crushes!
Day #7
I love taking my son / our son to special events. This year we decided to take him to see the Harlem Globetrotters. He was super excited and I have to admit I was too. Neither of us have seen them play so it was exciting to be going. We went and had a good time. They are really funny and really good dancers. Yes, you heard me, really good dancers. At various points during the game, I know I saw all of them dancing on the sidelines. Chase had a great time and I know he enjoyed getting mom and dad to himself. Sorry, no pictures. I gave the camera a night off :).
Day #8
Parties.... I love hosting parties wether it is a simple morning get together or a Super Bowl Party, I just love it. I love the planning and fixing of great food! I love talking to other adults while our kids play. And we don't skip a beat as they are running around screaming their heads off because they are having a nerf war, we just raise our conversation up a few octives. I love trying other peoples foods and takes on classics. There isn't anything I don't like...I even enjoy the day after because it allows me to clean my house like I have never cleaned before. I am still finding nerf bullets in places that I didn't even know the boys were. We had so much fun with our great friends and can't wait to do it again.
Day#9
Am I caught up yet...oh nope...one more day...hmmmmm.....monday....ummm yeah hate Mondays, not sure why but they always turn out bad. Oh I've got it. I love having a husband that at least listens to some of my crazy-step out of our little bubble and change the world-moments. And I will change the world, but it may just be the world around us, again in our own little bubble. I just love how my husband wants so desperately to scream : WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? But he tries very hard to actually listen to me and my reasons behind these crazy moments. And I love it. He doesn't say no, but wants to hear why or how or when? And I just love him for that. Thank you baby. I promise Im not crazy but I will change the world, I promise!
Day #10
Phew, caught up. Todays Things I love has to be Valentines Day parties. Little Miss Ella had her first Valentines Day party today at her little reading / preschool group today. She was soooo excited and wasn't quite sure what the trading of valentines was all about. But after the party, she knows. And the girl can tell me with her valentines no where in sight, who gave her what and what valentines card goes with the treat. Here is what she took as her valentine for her friends:
This one was for her teacher.
I just love the fact that we are embarking on a very fun journey with our little girl (s) and school. Ella already adores school. I can't imagine how much fun she is going to have when she really starts Kindergarten. Ugh, tears a flowing just thinking about it. We are so blessed to have this precious little princess in our home (along with her prince brother and evil stepsister, I mean other princess, really she acts like a queen, any way her little sister).
I will have one more entry tomorrow and then I am off on that annual getaway with my hubby! We probably won't be home until Sunday! I can't tell you how excited I am!!
Happy Tuesday to you!
