Wow...I am hard pressed for something to write today. Not that there isn't a ton of things I love like the way my mom sends the girls some coloring goodies so they can be occupied while they are sick or the way that Kyndall smiles at me all cute like now when she is getting in trouble or the way she can now sneak out of her room during nap time but can't escape the fact that I hear her giggling. I love all those things but I am back to that blah feeling again. Between the massive amount of fog today where, at one point while I was driving, I couldn't see the car directly in front of me and the lack of sun, I am here. And with both girls being sick and not seeming to get any better as each day creeps along, I haven't had my "keep me smiling" girls to back me up. So my things I love today are pretty simple: a new coffee mug and mailing out my first custom order in my new store.
I recently opened my first ETSY store : Charmed Fig. I opened it for two reasons. 1. to get all the massive amounts of ribbon out of my house since starting my hairbow business years ago. 2. to start trying to create my own clothing line for kiddos. I have a few outfits on the site that are leftovers. And although the site doesn't have all or even any of my new ideas, those will have to wait. But I know, someday, they will be up there and hopefully in some boutiques. For right now, I have to get some bills paid off and some inventory gone. So please pass my name along!! Since I just opened, I was shocked to already have two ladies ask me for custom orders. They liked a certain outfit but needed it in different colors and different sizes. I love it!! Although I am learning that I need to really take this more seriously if it is going to be a business. Another blog another time. I am just happy that I have two orders and one just went out in the mail! Yippee!!
And for a little Yippee prize, I got myself a new coffee mug today at JoAnns. Cute little Starbucks look alike mug that I can now take everywhere with some yummy coffee inside. See its the little things!!
So now Im off to create grocery lists - I am trying a new thing next month and Iam really hoping to save us some major money on our groceries. I am hoping to blog about it but I have to get all of my thoughts in line first. And I also have an Oscar the Grouch outfit to make for Miss Ella for school tomorrow. Happy Hump Day you all!!
