Oh what a week

Oh what a week this has been and was last week. I had my first (and almost last) craft show. This was the biggest one I have done and I was very nervous, but excited to sell my pretty things. Both days were packed with people but no one wanted to buy. I am not sure what people do when they decide to come to craft shows. I think they just come to steal ideas with no intent to buy. I heard a lot of compliments, which was so nice, but no one had babies or girls that fit into any of my clothes. It was a disheartening and after barely making enough to cover booth rental, I cancelled my next one. It just isn't worth it especially when I heard (and later saw on dvd) Chase's game. I know I am his mom but I have to say he is such a great football player. It is just so easy to him and he gives so much of himself, it shows every play. It is also wearing him out quite a bit so life around the house has calmed down a few notches. Here are just some of the highlights from his game. He ran in a touchdown, about 90 yards out. He made almost 7 tackles and ran in another touchdown later. He made several catches and blocked fabulously!! I am so proud of my little football man. Sorry no pics, daddy had the camera :).

Ella and I baked yesterday to celebrate fall's arrival with chilly mornings and cool afternoons. I was hoping these pumpkin chocolate chip muffins would also help Kyndall and I to feel better. We have some nasty cough with no other symptoms, it stinks!

I also made myself a new fall purse. I needed to exert my creativity because in some way I feel I failed at making clothes. Yes, I know I didn't but you can't help but feel that way. So here is my latest purse. I have to say, it's pretty cute.

And I will leave you with another sweet note from Chase. We started a journal with him. It allows us to praise him in a private way and in a way that he can go back and read over and over when maybe he feels sad. Here is a note we had laying on our bed one night. It was so unexpected and so beautiful.

I just love my little munchkins! They are all so unique and fabulous in their own ways!!
