Hello Fall

Oh how I love fall! The smell of wet grass every morning and the slight chill in the air every night at football practice, is nothing sort of magical. Speaking of football, Chase had his last scrimmage, which turned out to be like a real game. Complete with refs and screaming yelling parents. Here are just a few pictures from last night.

Ok so this next picture shows how much these boys love football. Check out our littlest player, crouched down in front of the other teams massive player (this is that 250 pound kid from a few weeks ago). Our #42 worked his butt off last night. He was the most aggressive player that we have seen so far and with him being so little he uses that to his advantage. It was so fun watching him dominate the other team and making the other coaches so fuming mad that this little boy was getting through every time.

Chase had a decent game. We all knew he would have trouble with tackling, he is just too concerned with who he is hitting. Last night this was very evident so we have to somehow toughen him up on the field. But I know he will get there.
As for the rest of us, we are trying to catch up from our weekend away. We had a great time with all of our families but again came to the conclusion that trying to visit all at one time is just not fair to anyone. So be ready family, when we come next time we are with you the entire weekend :). We took some pictures at my parents house and they are going to make great Christmas pictures!! But here are a few that aren't in the present stack.

Chase's first game is this Saturday so I will be blogging again this weekend. We were also hoping to get to a apple orchard so that maybe this year we can actually PICK an apple. I hope everyone has a fabulous rest of this short week. I leave you with a picture of the evening sky last night. These are some of my most favorite scenes in the sky. Reminds me that I have so much to be thankful for, it looks like God pouring his love out over his children. Love it!
