and refs that made bad calls and teammates getting hurt. And although it was nothing serious, we all held our breaths as we waited to see if one of our own would be ok.
This game was against the best team in our division so we knew going into it, it was going to be rough. We learned some things and had some moments where I'm sure coach was a little unsure if we actually had practiced. But overall the boys did good and now we know what we need to do to get better.
I'm sure Coach wishes he had their attention as much as the cheerleaders do. :)
And on to Sunday where the creative Gods shown down on our house. I have to give a huge THANK YOU to my lovely husband who was in charge of the kiddos while I created what seemed like outfit after outfit today. And although there were times I wanted to stop and play, I stayed behind the machine and sewed. After all, craft shows are SNEAKING up on me quickly! Here are some of my goodies:
There is still some left to do but it will have to wait until this week. Our week is going to be an easy one. A few playdates, a few practices, and company coming this weekend. I think there is a zoo calling our name as well.
Oh and an announcement that makes my heart happy. Our precious Mister O will be returning starting in October until his beautiful momma has his new baby sister in December.
As you can imagine, Miss Ella is just beside herself. She just can't wait to have him back. I am also excited to be able to take him on adventures with us and provide his momma (and daddy) some peaceful feelings while he is in our care. There are such beautiful people in my life and I am so blessed to be able to help them at times when they need it most!
Happy Fall Ya'll!!
