With the girls' birthdays being so close we wanted to do a joint party that would be fun for both age groups. After much debate, the girls choose a Candyland themed party with lots of fun games and of course, candy! This party was fairly easy to plan because so many people have done it before me. I stole their ideas and added in a few of my own decorating details to create the fun.
Decorating their goodie bags
Playing in the Lollipop Forest
Picking Plums off of the plum tree and popping them to get their prize inside
Pin the gumdrop on Gingy
We made a couple photo booth stand up thingys.
Playing the dizzy Peppermint Stick Race
Decorating their own coffee mugs
Then the kiddos attempted to break open the pinata
Cake and ice cream time! This cake gave me more crap than any other cake. It turned out great and very yummy, but I will never do a rainbow swirl cake again.
Then we chased Chase around silly string. It was so fun for all kiddos involved!
Even I got a little messy
The last part was a waterballoon fight. The kids, again, had so much fun running around trying to get each other.
Our fun troop!
The kids had so much fun and lots of goodies were taken home :). I am hoping the girls remember this party for a long time.
This party was stressful to plan but so fun to watch the kids enjoy! Now, its time to really enjoy our last week of summer and then get ready for school to start!!
