Ready with her baggie of Valentines
Getting some good ole' teacher attention
Two of my sweeties!
Here were the exchanged gifts. We were going "cheap" this year and more meaningful. Ryan and I both made each others presents, except for the beautiful roses he showed up with on the actual love day. Because I was really not feeling well.
To make Valentines Day a little more special for all of us, we tried making sushi :). It was so much fun and turned out really good.
Then for the next week and half I was in a sick fog. After 8 days of being miserable and a dr visit, I made another visit to the dr. This dr finally felt sorry for me and gave me an antiobiotic. The next day, I felt amazing!! I was so miserable. Being a mom of three, very active, but yet not quite old enough to take care of themselves, is so hard. Plus, throw in that your husband's busiest time is RIGHT NOW and he has to work ALOT. Not good timing. But all that matters is we all made it. The house. The kids. The parents. We all made it.
Beautiful flowers that kept my spirits up when times got pretty tough....which they did lots of times.
Then came the snow. About 12 inches of snow, I think even more. It was a crazy snow complete with several thundersnows. It was so awesome!! The kids got two days off. And now there is talk of yet another storm of the same magnitude headed our way, again!
Lots of sledding straight from the front door
Lots and LOTS of shoveling. I have never shoveled so much snow. It is never ending.
Kyndall launching a snowball at daddy
Daddy loads up his own "snowball"
Daddy launching...she was terrified
We played lots of games
And had lots of makeup lessons
And our guest bathroom shower looks like a winter clothing store exploded in it....but thats ok. It's limited to that shower and I can close the door :)
And ate and baked and ate and cooked lots of good food!
We are looking forward to maybe getting to school a few days this week. We hope everyone else is having a great weekend!
