Ornaments and basketballs

With the washing machine and dishwasher running it is a clear sign that our weekend is over. Monday has always been my catch up day and I tend to like it that way. Any excuse to stay in yoga pants with no make up! We had a great weekend complete with tree decorating, basketball game, and a trip to the Little Apple to watch the Cats play.

One of my favorite things to do all year is when we get out our ornaments. My parents started a collection for me when I was little and I am still collecting them. I love opening the boxes and remembering the ornaments. I really want this for my kiddos so we started a collection for each of them the year they were born. So far Hallmark has continued each of the series', yay! I noticed this year the girls really enjoyed seeing their ornaments and spend several minutes a day looking and touching them. It is great.

Brother's series is my fave. It reminds me of those times when it was just me and him. It reminds me of how special that boy is to me. He saved my life many a times, back in the day.

Chase also had his first basketball game. They played well and won!

He made some great free throws!

We also had to get some family pics taken seeing as they are Christmas presents most of the time :). In honor of KState's win on Saturday night the kids tried the KSU pic:

We would take a picture and then the girls would run off to find Bernie. They adore this kitty.

See, no matter where we were, the cat and the girls were together.

We had fun getting these pictures taken. I am sure fond of all these beautiful faces :)

We are looking forward to a somewhat busy week and then a little early Christmas celebration with family. Happy Monday.
