Lightroom Fun

Ok so photography is this new and fabulous hobby that I have found. I am so in love with pictures and my camera, it is a little scary! But with it comes great pictures and great ways for me to continue to learn how to do something else. This week I found out that Lightroom(photo editing software) has a free trial period so that you can try it before you buy it. Oh man, have I been having fun. And just like everything else related to computers, you have to just play and try and erase and try again. Here are some examples of things I have tried.
First I figured out how to enhance the iris' of my subjects. This one is a bit too enhanced but thought it was awesome that I could do that to her eyes.

Then I played around with this one. I felt the original was too dark so I messed around and made it a much easier picture to see. Although I am not completely happy with the after, it still looks better.


I also got the chance last weekend to photograph our cousin and his new fiance'. This was SO MUCH fun and I felt so honored that they asked me to do it. I am not going to put too many up since I haven't talked to her but I thought these were great examples of what I can do.

First, I wanted the water to be a different color than the nasty green. I am not to incrediably happy with the blue that it is but I am sure with a little more playing, it will get there.


This one was a nice picture but I wanted the bricks to not be so bright, so with a little messing, they aren't!


Oh so much fun!! I can't wait to see what I can do when I try out Photoshop, another editing software that allows to do even more things!
