Goodbye Halloween and Hello Fall!!

Oh the fall weather is upon us!! Windy and dreary days make for great naps, I think!
We had a great weekend and the kids had a FrIgHTfUlLy good time trick or treating last night around the neighborhood. I find it so funny that Chase and Ella were fighting over handing out candy and didn't want to go get their own candy. No Mom I want to stay and hand out the candy...gotta love 'em!
Here is what we looked like:

Ella Olivia the pig - dressed as an opera singer : I was really worried people wouldn't know what/who she was but I think we heard 3 or 4 times, look she's Olivia. YAY!!

Can't you tell they had a good time.

I also got to go (for the first time ever) to Chase's Halloween Party at school. What a fun time we had there. It was nice to see Chase at school, get to talk to his teacher a little more and find out all the people we know, and meeting other moms around the neighborhood.

On Friday we decided to soak up every last bit of good weather I think we are going to see for a while. So we headed over to the park to enjoy the sun and swings.

When did she get this big?

Can you find Chase? Yep he could have gone as a tree for Halloween. Sometimes Im a little jealous of him!

Oh how I love to swing...someone just needs to invent a seat big enough for my ...well you know.

Lastly, after our fiasco with dance I am/was desperately trying to find something for Ella to be in so that she can get over this mommy don't leave stage. After an email from a friend, I finally found it. An afternoon kindergarten teacher is having a little Learn to Read "class" two days a week for two hours in the morning. It is out of her home and she has a little boy that is almost 3. We have been reading all sorts of school books and being by ourselves books and have talked up this class for weeks now. I was so sick to my stomach, the thought of leaving her just screaming like she was last time, ugh just killed me. So in order to help out with this, her teacher, asked us to come over and check it out this morning. Oh my, isn't it funny how God steps in and just calms your fears. Ella walked right in, started playing with her son, started touring their house all by herself, and never ONCE came up to me. She is going to have a blast and I have a feeling there might be some tears but not like I thought. So a big PRAISE GOD for this class and this wonderful kindy teacher to our rescue!!

So that's it...we have a busy week ahead. Practice of some sort every night this week. Chase's musical Thursday night at school and his last regular season football game on Saturday at 2. Lots of love sent your way!!
