Just wait ten minutes

There is a saying for those of us that live in Kansas: if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes and it will change. This has never been more true than the past three days. We went from 75 on Monday

It has been crazy. Which in turn makes all of us in the house a little crazy as well. I have said it before, I am a firm believer that we are connected to the Mother Nature in every way. The moods in this house have fluctuated as much as the weather has, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that we are all ready for warmer weather.

That warmer weather was such a nice teaser for spring. I love how the seasons naturally change when our bodies need them to or it could be vice versa. At any rate, I do enjoy the changes as they come. Just when summer seems to be getting too hot, fall shows its beauty and the winds of change start. And just when the cold of winter is getting to be too much, mother nature sends us a 70+ degree day to remind us that warmer times are on their way. We took total advantage of that teaser of a day. We invited some of the girls (and mine) friends to meet us at the park for some fun play time before school started that day. I'm loving afternoon kindy for this reason!

Meet Little Miss's boyfriend. He comes from a great family. Little Miss is learning how to be a good girlfriend and loves to talk about her boyfriend. It is so adorable!

Station break to talk about life right now is our world. I love watching these girls together. Walking to school after our park playdate I mentioned to one of the moms that I so wish and hope that our girls stay friends forever. They are all so good for each other. They add so much to each other's lives and will be great shoulders to lean on when times get tough. On top of all of that, they all have siblings that are younger and us moms, we get along so well. I am hoping their friendships withstand the test of time, because so many don't. Counting all sorts of blessings right now and learning to live in the NOW, not the past or future.

Love this girl! She is pushing all sorts of buttons these days and tears are a hourly occurance but I still can't help but cuddle with her every chance I can!

So much fun was had by all!! I know I am truly blessed to be able to be at home and watch all the learning and love that takes place between sisters and friends.

Ryan and I went on a little date the other night and thoroughly enjoyed the night walking about a little shopping mall. I love these little escapes that give me a break from our wonderful, but challenging, children and remind me that he will be there when their gone. I wouldn't lie if I said I am not looking forward to that time in our lives BUT soaking up every minute of life right now.
