No I didn't fall off the edge of the Earth

Wow it has been a while hasn't it! Poor blog! I have wanted to but just haven't had much to say. I really don't have too much to update. Life has consisted of us running around outside because it is SOOOO nice when just four days ago it looked like this:

Yep, snow. Big, beautiful, wet, blindingly dangerous, glad I was at my parents house, kind of snow. I have to say my photography skills are coming along...love photographing winter and nature...so fun! Here are some of my favs:



It was our spring break this week. We decided to head to mom and dad's for an impromptu visit so that the man of the house could get our taxes done. It was a great visit and just long enough to enjoy time away from home but short enough to not drive all of our family crazy! My mom showed me her way to make tamales. It was so fun to work with my mom in the kitchen. We tend to take turns being the one behind the counter but this time it was a team effort. And boy did I have fun. I put my sis in charge of the camera so for once I am actually in pictures. My sis went a little camera crazy so after sorting through over 100 pictures, here is our tamale fun:

We also visited my grandparents and man I am a sucker for grandma and grandpa with my girls!! Ugh, so much love going around this house on this day!!


I don't normally get all mushy on here for the most part but man do I love being close to my family. My kiddos are so blessed with having not only their grandparents around but their great grandparents to love them and guide them. What a great thing!!

We had a great time and have LOVED the weather for the past few days...no pictures since the sandbox really isn't nice to the camera. We have lived outside and I am loving it!! I have been super busy with orders from my store, which is great! I am very happy with what I have seen so far. And my ultimate plan for this business is slowly coming to fruition (is that how you spell it?).

Much is planned for this weekend. Sis is coming and we are hitting the stores. I can't even tell you how long it has been since I went shopping for ...well....me. I think our upcoming summer vacation calls for some new duds :).
