Easter Weekend

We had a great time this Easter weekend with all of our families!! The kids also did well with all of the "moving" from house to house. We started out at Ryan's dad's house. Of course its tax season so the men folk had tax talk on their minds and stayed up way too late discussing the new laws and new deductions. It is rather boring talk to me! I enjoyed some time with Roma and the kids. Ella had a run in with their new puppy Duke but that is to be expected with Miss Drama who also doesn't like dogs. And we all know that dogs, especially puppies, can sense this. Duke was just trying to give her a hug since she is his size and managed to scratch her on her face. It looked pretty bad and Ella was terrified, but all was well when the Easter baskets came out.

The next day we all got our hair cut and went to Ryan's mom's. It was a great visit with lots of good food and lots of Easter fun. We also got to see both of Ryan's brothers which made the kids very happy to have two extra people to play with.

Easter Sunday started with a very different service than we have been to and then on to my parents/grandparents. We had tons of good food with lots of family all around. I just love holidays for this reason. There is nothing like watching grandparents with their grandkids. My Ella is just in love with her "gampa" and was screaming his name in the car as we pulled up to see him. He on the other hand is probably the last person that you would think would show emotion but he is just as infactuated with her. It is truely a beautiful thing to see as a mom. We are so blessed to have so many of our family members still with us and still able to enjoy their lives. So blessed indeed!
